Are you a passionate worship leader with a pastor’s heart?
Calvary Orlando is looking for a Spirit-led Worship Pastor to guide our diverse, multi-generational congregation into powerful, authentic worship encounters. This is more than a musical role — it’s a calling to shepherd, disciple, and build a vibrant worship culture rooted in intimacy with Jesus, excellence in musicianship, and unity in the Spirit.

What You’ll Do

Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship

Shepherd the worship team and congregation into deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, mentorship, and modeling authentic worship.
Foster a spiritually healthy and prayer-centered team culture.
Musical & Technical Leadership

Lead worship services weekly with vocal and instrumental excellence.
Recruit, train, and disciple worship team members, both musically and spiritually.
Teach vocal blend, harmonies, ear training, and musicianship to strengthen the team.
Write and arrange original songs for corporate worship and special events.
Curate a Spirit-sensitive mix of modern and traditional worship songs.
Team & Culture Building

Create a strong community among team members centered around discipleship, accountability, and growth.
Lead rehearsals, training sessions, and team-building activities that foster unity and purpose.
Mentor and empower emerging leaders, musicians, and songwriters.
Creative & Technical Oversight

Collaborate with leadership to design and execute dynamic, Spirit-filled worship experiences.
Partner with media and production teams to ensure seamless services.
Stay informed about worship trends while remaining anchored in Calvary’s vision and theology.
Innovate with creative expressions like visuals, original music, and spontaneous worship.

What We’re Looking For

Core Qualifications

A vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus.
Strong vocal and instrumental proficiency (guitar, piano, or other).
Experience in songwriting, arranging, and leading worship in a church setting.
Knowledge of music theory, harmonization, and vocal blending.
Leadership and discipleship skills with a heart to develop others.
Strong communicator who can lead a multicultural, multigenerational team.
Familiarity with worship tech (Planning Center, sound systems, live streaming, etc.).
Preferred Experience

3+ years of worship leadership experience.
Degree or coursework in worship, music, theology, or related field.
Experience leading worship in multicultural or multigenerational contexts.
