Joe and Ann Trementozzi are Assemblies of God U.S. Missionaries dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities and their families through Special Touch Ministry, a faith-based nonprofit inspired by their daughter Beth Ann’s challenges after her traumatic birth. Beginning their journey in the 1970s and 80s at Brockton Assembly of God, they were moved by the struggles of families affected by disabilities, seeing their own challenges as a divine calling. Appointed as U.S. Missionaries in 2006 and joining Special Touch Ministry in 2007, they have reached over 60 million individuals with disabilities in the U.S. They coordinate Special Touch Get Away Camps, adapting to online formats during the COVID-19 pandemic, even reaching Brazil. As Board Members and National Chapter Directors, they launched the “Family of Hope” initiative for parents and siblings of individuals with disabilities, advocating nationwide for inclusion and spiritual support, ensuring salvation through Jesus is accessible to all. Beth Ann, now in her 40s, actively participates in their ministry, inviting friends from her adult day program to camps where many have found faith. Driven by urgency and conviction, Joe and Ann see their mission as a privilege, bringing hope and the Gospel to an often-overlooked community.
